A film first televised in 1979 and later edited on vhs in 1983. "The Space Movie" contains footage specially made avaliable by NASA and The U.S. National Archive of the lunar landscape to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the first man landing on the moon.

The soundtrack was supposed to be released as an album, including the otherwise unreleased "Orchestral Hergest Ridge", but it never was.
