Virgin was to release this recording after the "Orchestral Tubular Bells" but due
to its little success the studio "Orchestral Hergest Ridge" never saw the light.
It is stated that this recording was in fact performed by Scottish National Orchestra on
May 5th, 1976 at the Kelvin Hall, Glasgow, also conducted by David Bedford with
Steve Hillage on guitar. The extract form the "Orchestral Tubular Bells" is
recorded live and presents the original arrangement that was finally rejected by Mike
himself for the studio album.
